 Based in Topeka, Kansas, Century United Companies was founded in 1981. Our primary focus has always been providing quality products with outstanding service to our customers. Originally a black/white copier based Equipment Company; today our industry has led us to expand to include color copiers, printers, fax machines, scanners, document imaging, archiving and retrieval management systems, as well as networks and other services. With the advent of the digital copier or MFP’s (multi-functional products), we now provide total solutions in all document management areas. From the traditional walk up copier, to fully integrated network printer/scanners, we can fulfill all your document management, electronic document storage and imaging requirements.
In the years since our inception, we have expanded to include 5 locations throughout Kansas: Topeka, Lawrence, Chanute, Wichita and Dodge City. Today, we also service over 5000 customers with our service professionals whose average tenure is in excess of 17 years. Our average service completion time is less than 3 hours, significantly less than the average 4 hour response time of our competitors. We believe it is not about getting to your location to look at the problem. It is about having the experience and the parts on hand to fix the problem once we get there.
In 2001, the State of Kansas placed their trust in Century United Companies as their chosen copier vendor. We placed over 2,100 copiers statewide in less than two months and secured a sole source rental contract. Not only was this order recognized by Savin as the largest single installation in Savin’s 42 year history, but today, and more importantly, it has resulted in savings to the State of Kansas of over 2 million dollars per year of their initial contract.
With over 80% of our customers electing either leasing or rental programs for their needs, we provide several “in-house” finance options to meet your requirements. Our leasing subsidiary, ABC Leasing Co., Inc., eliminates the need for third party financing.
